Strength Program

Our Strength program is designed to get you as strong as possible, with this strength transferring over to the court. A big problem with strength training is becoming bulky and slow. But this shouldn’t scare you away from strength training because it is a great tool to enhance performance and reduce recovery risk. Our program offers 2 strength sessions and 1 mobility session a week. Consisting of 4 phases each phase containing 6 weeks of training with each phase costing just 30,-.

What you will get

2 Strength trainings

With our programs we are offering you 2 quality strength sessions a week. This is because at BadmintonStrength we use strength training as a tool with improving your health and badminton skills as the goal, the strength training itself is not the goal. So there is no need to spend an excessive amount of time in the gym, we want to be as effective as possible with our time. 

What makes our strength program unique is that it focuses on gaining the most amount of strength whilst trying to stay lean and explosive. To do this we train heavy and lower in reps to recruit more fast twitch muscle fibers. Our program exists off a well thought out 6 month program to guide you on your journey to becoming stronger and more powerful.

Easy to follow program

All our programs can be performed by following our app. Our app simplifies your training with weekly plans, clear sets and reps, and custom key points for each exercise. Every exercise has a demo video making sure you know how to perform the exercise. Next to this our welcome videos walks you through our interface ensuring you understand how everything works in the app.

1 Mobility session

Next to our strength training we will offer you one short mobility session a week you can do easily at home. You can do your session one time or repeat it multiple times a week to stay extra mobile. The mobility session is there for 2 important reasons; it is extremely important to stay mobile for badminton so you can move well around the court and have a reduced chance of injury. And where strength training has many benefits one negative thing can be that your body can get a bit stiffer, so for that we use the mobility session to counter this stiffness.

Controle over your membership

At badmintonstrength you are in complete control of your membership. Scared to commit with the fear of being stuck to another membership you don’t want? No need to fear, at badmintonstrength we work really hard to give you the best programs and we believe in the value we offer. And because of that we leave you in complete control of your membership being free to cancel at any time. Just make sure you cancel before your next payment. Wessel is the founder of badmintonstrength and also our coach for the strength program. Wessel used to be a professional player playing in the highest leagues in France, the Netherlands and Switzerland with the peak of his career being a silver medal at the European juniors u19 in mixed doubles. Sadly his career never really took off after juniors suffering with many injuries already from a young age with the main being his hips. But not everything was bad about his physicality. One thing that always stood out as a positive was his strength. And now he is here to help you become a strong and powerful badminton player to help transform your game!
